Maruxa Basic

Designed as a completely hollow guitar that behaves like a classic arch-top, with a carved top, bottom, and rings carved from a solid block, but without a tailpiece. Instead a bridge is used which acts as a tailpiece supported by a unique system of harmonic bars that allows  to vibrate freely both the bottom and at the lid, which is hold by the bars only when it touches the bridge.

This unique design avoids any deformations, allowing the guitar to generate the known vibration of arched lid guitars, but with the unique sound of this invention. (Patent Pending)

We finished the creation by covering the guitar in oil to give it an aged relic look which has a striking aesthetic effect. It also has the bar of steel, acetate sheets, carbon fiber, wood or leather. You may also order the guitar varnished or painted or with nitrocellulose.

The original design has a scale of 25 inches and 22 frets with a slightly asymmetrical rear profile neck.
It is mainly intended as Jazz guitar, especially the configurations with a single pickup, but with enough versatility.

The guitar can be customized with for example two pickups, a piezoelectric and other electronic configurations.
